Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Manager to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be adept at building and maintaining relationships with lenders, partners, and startups. As a Business Development Manager at Insight Funders, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our network of lenders and borrowers, forming strategic partnerships, and driving sales initiatives to accelerate our platform’s growth.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lender Acquisition:
• Identify, engage, and onboard new lending partners, including private credit funds, banks, and high-net-worth individuals.
• Maintain and nurture relationships with existing lending partners to ensure ongoing collaboration and satisfaction.
• Borrower Acquisition:
• Attract and onboard startups and businesses to our platform, understanding their financing needs and matching them with appropriate lending solutions.
• Conduct outreach and presentations to potential borrowers, showcasing the benefits of partnering with Insight Funders.
• Partnership Development:
• Form strategic partnerships with financial institutions, industry associations, and other relevant organizations to enhance our market presence.
• Collaborate with marketing and product teams to develop co-branded initiatives and joint ventures.
• Sales and Revenue Growth:
• Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business development targets and drive revenue growth.
• Track and report on sales metrics, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
• Market Research and Analysis:
• Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape.
• Provide feedback to the product and marketing teams to inform platform enhancements and marketing strategies.
• Event Participation:
• Represent Insight Funders at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to promote our platform and expand our network.
• Client Support:
• Serve as a primary point of contact for lenders and borrowers, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
• Ensure a seamless onboarding experience for all new partners and clients.
Qualifications:
• Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
• Advanced degrees (MBA) or relevant certifications are a plus.
• Experience:
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role within the financial services or fintech industry.
• Proven track record of successfully acquiring and managing relationships with lenders and borrowers.
• Experience with private credit, venture debt, or revenue-based financing is highly desirable.
• Skills:
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong negotiation and presentation abilities.
• Ability to develop and implement strategic sales plans.
